Your data, your decision

Leaving should
be clear, too.

Here’s how to request account deletion—and how that differs from signing out, leaving Together Mode or removing a local copy.

Self-service account deletion is not currently operational in CouchCheck. There is no working Delete Account button to direct you to. Use the support-request process below; we’ll verify the request and explain the available action before confirming completion.

  1. Keep a copy, if you want one.

Before requesting deletion, use Profile → Your Data → Export My Data. Save the JSON to a private location and verify the file. A share sheet closing is not confirmation that a file was saved.

  2. Contact us from your account email.

Email support@sneakertweakers.us with the subject “CouchCheck account deletion request.” Say that you want your account and associated personal cloud data deleted. If you use Apple’s relay email, mention that you sign in with Apple; we’ll discuss safe verification if needed.

  3. Verify, then wait for confirmation.

We may need to verify account ownership and clarify shared-data or retention limits. We will not ask for a password, verification code or access token. A request being sent does not prove deletion occurred. We’ll confirm the action and relevant limitations when it is complete.

Account data and local data are different.

An account can contain your sign-in identity, personal cloud records, preferences and save-operation information. Guest/device tracking and recovery copies can remain on an iPhone independently. Signing out, disabling automatic saving or deleting an app is not a verified request to delete a Supabase account.

To remove local data, first protect any records you want to keep and ask support about the supported option for your app version. Do not uninstall or reset a device as a way to troubleshoot a missing cloud Library. This page does not perform an import, restore, remote deletion or device reset.

What about Together Mode?

Together Mode is not publicly activated yet. The prepared departure model ends both active memberships and protects private Libraries, while retaining shared history. Leaving a partnership is not the same as deleting an account. A verified deletion request may require reviewing shared history and another member’s rights; it should not be assumed that every shared or operational record disappears immediately.

Copies outside CouchCheck.

Deletion cannot automatically retrieve exports you emailed or saved elsewhere, another person’s independent copies, or events exported to Apple Calendar or another calendar account. Review those destinations and device permissions separately. Security, legal, operational or provider-backup records may have different retention limits, which we will explain where relevant.

Need help before deciding?

You can ask about access, correction, exporting or deletion without sending your private Library. Read our retention policy or contact support.
